Customer Owned Machine Servicing (COMS)

Machine servicing and/or cleaning is an essential, but often overlooked aspect of owning your own part washer. It's a big investment that should last you over 20 years, but that can be significantly reduced if it is not appropriately serviced.
Equipment that is not properly serviced is likely to:
1. Provide an inferior wash outcome;
2. Lead to rust inside the machine and on the components that are being cleaned;
3. May result in unsightly chemical stains on your washed components; and
4. In extreme circumstances, may even damage the parts being cleaned.
PartWashers offer customer owned machine services (COMS) from as little as $390 for a SW0800 (PW2) washer, and servicing is included as part of all rental offers. It does not matter whether you purchased your washer directly from us or you have owned it for the last 15 years, we are happy to assist you with a customer owned machine service.
A typical service includes:
1. A safety and function check of your equipment including any minor adjustments that are necessary.
2. External wipe down of your equipment.
3. Internal clean of the washer.
4. Disposal of all waste water via an EPA approved/lawful site.
5. Replenishment with fresh water and chemicals (PB146N) at 1.5% .
6. All technicians are trained and will also comply with any local SHE requirements and will always wear appropriate PPE.
PLEASE NOTE - SOLVENT SINKS: *** Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide solvent sink (parts washers) servicing to customers that have not purchased through PartWashers and that are not using our plant based solvent. This is due to the risk of exotic and/or hydrocarbon based chemicals with low flash points having been introduced to the sink, which then complicates our ability to dispose of the product responsibly and economically. ****
Rentals
Equipment is available for outright purchase or it can be rented, where PartWashers take on the majority of the risk so that you may focus on what you do best, run your business.
Rental costs cover the machine plus servicing on a 3+2 year term. Provided that the customer does not damage the machine due to misuse, then there are no other costs to pay other than the monthly rental fee. All maintenance including repairs is covered in the monthly servicing cost.
PartWashers will then service the machine in accordance with the agreed servicing cycle, typically 4 weekly or 13 services per annum, however we also offer 6 weekly and 8 weekly servicing cycles which can reduce the cost, provided that the machine use warrants the extended servicing cycle.
Servicing is as per a normal Customer Owned Machine Service (COMS), detailed above. The customer will also receive a courtesy email, typically in the week prior to the scheduled service.
Servicing costs vary based on the size of the machine and the amount of associated waste.
Unlike some of our competitors, PartWashers understands that circumstances change and you may need to alter or terminate your contract. There are fees associated with early termination that cover reasonable financing and removal costs, however you are free to cancel at any time with 30 days written notice, in accordance with our standard terms and conditions.
